In 2004, graduated from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University and enrolled as a junior researcher. Since 2005 till now, has been organising the annual International Bio Summer School on the basis of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology, ONU. Since 2007, editor of English-language articles in the scientific journal ‘Microbiology and Biotechnology’. In 2009, defended thesis on ‘Peculiarities of defective lysogeny of Erwinia carotovora’ and was promoted to the position of senior researcher. In 2013, received academic title - Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology. Organiser, coordinator and responsible executor of the projects ‘Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis (2022-2024)’. Organiser, coordinator and responsible executor of the project Ukraine digital: Studienerfolg in Krisenzeiten sichern (2023-2025) Project: ‘Digitalisation of the educational process in Odesa I.I. Mechnykov National Univ.’ Project-ID: 57678239 (with Hannover Medical School (MHH).
International internships:
- 2011 internship at the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy, Wroclaw, Poland. Within the framework of the individual grant Ukraine-Poland collaboration 2009. Laboratory of Medical Microbiology.
- 2012 - internship at the National Institute of Agriculture (INRA), Nantes, France, within the framework of the project of international scientific cooperation ‘Dnipro’ between France and Ukraine. Laboratory of the Research Unit ‘Biopolymer Interactions and Assembling’.
- 2015, 2016 internship at the FUNDACIÓ INSTITUT D'INVESTIGACIÓ EN CIÈNCIES DE LA SALUT GERMANS TRIAS I PUJOL (IGTP) (Barcelona, Spain) within the framework of the Marie-Curie FP7-IRSES project.
- 2017, 2018 internship at the School of Pharmacy & Biomolecular Science, University of Brighton (Brighton, UK) 2016-2-UK01-KA107-035006, within the framework of the project for higher education student and staff mobility between Programme Countries and Partner Countries.
