The Law center was launched on November 24, 1964 (Interacademic legal department). It was reorganized into Odessa Law Centre of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the basis of Odessa I.I.Mechnikov National University in 1993.

The Law Centre is headed by Natalya Vasilyeva, the members are: the general councils Marina Gres, Ludmila Yudova, legal coucil Zoya Mashchenko.

The Law Centre provides ONU with legal support and coordinates the legal departments of the higher education institutions in Odessa region.

The legal councils consult the students and the members of ONU on legal issues of higher education and other branches of law.

Opening hours of the Law Centre are subject to ONU internal regulations.
