In 2006-2007, he received an honorary scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists. He defended his PhD thesis in 2013. In 2019, he was awarded an honorary diploma from the Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University.

Author of 80 scientific publications, including 7 articles in scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus); 15 educational and methodical publications, 38 articles in professional publications of Ukraine, 2 patents. Co-author of the monograph "Lactobacilli on plant surfaces. Theory and practical approach", published in an international publishing house.

Scientific interests: Biofilms of microorganisms, intercellular communication of microorganisms, biochemistry, isolation and selection of microorganisms useful for biotechnology, phytostimulating microorganisms, biological control of plant diseases.
