Graduated from the Biological Faculty of I. I. Mechnikov National University of Odesa in 2004; in 2008, he defended his candidate's thesis in the specialized academic council of the I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; the degree of candidate of sciences was awarded in 2009; in 2013, he received the academic title of associate professor of the Department of zoology. Member of the editorial board of the magazine "Bulletin of Odesa National University. Series Biology". Head of the Odesa branch of the civil organization "Ukrainian Entomological Society".

The author of about 90 scientific publications, including 36 articles from scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus) and 17 works from specialized publications of Ukraine. Author of 11 educational and methodical publications.
