Graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Odesa I. I. Mechnikov State University in 1989. In 1996, defended PhD thesis at the Specialized Academic Board of the I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology; PhD degree in Biological Sciences was awarded in 1996. In 2005, awarded the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Zoology.

Author of over 100 scientific publications, including 16 papers indexed in scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus), 10 teaching and methodological publications, 22 articles in professional peer-reviewed journals of Ukraine, and 2 collective monographs.

Research Interests: Acarology, Parasitology, Ornithology.
