- Master program, 1,5 years (leading to a master degree 8.03020301);
- Specialistprogram, 1 year (leading to a Specialistdegree 7.03020301);
- PhD program, 3 years full-time and 4 years part-time (leading to a PhD degree upon successful dissertation defence).
The department is the only one in the Odessa region, which provides instructionto get diploma ofnational Master degree recognized in Europeand the USA with assignment of two qualifications "International Economist" and "Interpreter".

The Department, as a center of knowledge and professional skills in the field of international economic relations, aims to foster the continuous development of the specialty in Ukraine and to motivate their graduates to high professional standards in the field, to understand the economic conditions of the modern changing and globalizing world, to develop skills among the students to operate in the multicultural environment.
Speciality "International Economic Relations" provides knowledge in the field of international economic disciplines based on curricula that meet the requirements of the leading universities in the world. Significant part of the curriculum is devoted to the study of foreign languages (English, German, French), which allows our students participate in international exhibitions, conferences, symposia, international student exchanges with universities in the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, Hungary, other specialized international educational programs. The prominent status of the Department and high quality education in the field of "International Economic Relations" allow the best students qualify for scholarships for master's programs at leading universities in the U.S. and Europe, including Central European University (Budapest, Hungary).
The Department has extensive experience in cooperation with foreign institutions and universities. Over the past 10 years, the team collaborated with universities in the U.S. and the EU, including Yale University, Columbia University, the University of Texas (USA), Central European University (Hungary), University of Regensburg (Germany), University of Nice, Grenoble (France), University of Genoa, International University Lewis Rome (Italy), University of Coimbra (Portugal). Teachers were trained at the relevant universities and maintain professional relationships with foreign counterparts.
In 2011, after careful analysis of the curriculum quality compliance with the international standards the Department became an official partner of international educational program in the former Soviet Union - Academic Fellowship Program of Open Society Institute (Hungary, U.S.). This collaboration allows professors of the Department to participate in projects of international cooperation, and students - to attend lectures of internationally recognized professors, to take courses designed according to international standards, to have access to training in overseas academic programs.
Faculty holds membership in the Ukrainian Association of International Economists (http://ugouaem.com/), which brings together intellectual and material resources of universities and research institutions throughout Ukraine in the areas of professional development in the field of international economics.
The Department cooperates with international research centers and curriculum development centers, for example, the Institute for East and Southeast European Studies of the University of Regensburg, Germany (http://www.osteuropa-institut.de/en/about-us.html), Central European University, Hungary (www.ceu.hu), Higher School of Economics, Russia, Kyiv School of Economics (www.kse.org.ua).
The Department actively participates in the public life of the city, providing expert opinions to local government and mass media
