In 2000, graduated with honors from Odessa I. I. Mechnikov State University, specialty Microbiology and Virology. From 2000 to 2003 studied at the postgraduate program at Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University (ONU).
From November 1, 2003 to September 1, 2004, worked as an engineer at the Department of Microbiology and Virology of ONU.
From 01.09.2004 to 01.09.2006 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Microbiology and Virology of ONU, from 01.09.2006 to 01.09.2006 – Senior Lecturer, from 01.09.2006 to the present – Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology of the I. I. Mechnikov ONU.
in 2006 defended PhD thesis on the topic “Antibacterial Activity of Synthetic Porphyrins” in the speciality 03.00.07 – Microbiology at the D. K. Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the NAS of Ukraine. In 2013 was awarded the title of Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology.
In 2017 received a second higher education at ONU, specialty Psychology.
Since 12/18/2024 has been the head of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology.
Author of about 80 scientific and popular science publications and 13 educational and methodological publications.
Expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance Ukraine. Expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for conducting scientific and scientific-technical expertise of objects of expertise in the field of scientific and scientific-technical activities.
Project leader of ONU team in the international project No. 823854 INNOVA4TB (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, Horizon 2020). Contact person from ONU in the international project HORIZON WIDERA 2023 EU-CONEXUS ENABLES No. 101136822. Contact person from ONU and member of the Managerial committee from Ukraine in the project CA21164 Towards an improvement in diagnostics and treatment strategies for TB control (ADVACE-TB). Representative of ONU in the Research Council of the Alliance of European Universities EU-CONEXUS.
Guarantor of the educational and professional program for the second (Master's) level of higher education "Microbiology and Virology" in the specialty 091 Biology and Biochemistry.
Scientific interests: research of the pathogenesis of tuberculosis, antibiotic resistance, antimicrobial activity of natural and synthetic compounds, internationalization of education and science, biodegradation of synthetic polymers.
