Biography:

• In 1973 graduated with honors from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University, majoring in the English language and literature;
• since 1973 - Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University;
• in 1984 defended PhD thesis "Linguistic means of implementation of the point of view of the author and the character in entrusted narrative (based on Fl. O'Connor’s short stories)" (specialty 10.02.04 – Germanic languages) at Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University;
• from 1984 to 1998 – Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of Odessa I.I. Mechnikov State University;
• from October to December 1985 had an internship at the University of Manchester Metropolitan, England;
• in 1987 received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Humanitarian Faculties;
• from April to June 1995 had an internship and obtained a certificate at the University of St Andrews, Scotland
• since 1998 up to 31.08.2020 - Head of the Department of Foreign Languages for Humanitarian Faculties;
• within the framework of the International Joint Project of the British Council in Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “English for Universities” (2014 – 2018) took trainings and received the following certificates:
• ESP Teacher Development Course - June - July 2015 (72 hours);
• ESP Course Module Design (Development and Writing of the Professional English Course Program) - February 2016 (35 hours);
