Biography:

• In 1964 graduated from Odesa I.I. Mechnikov State University, majoring in German language and literature;
• Since 1962 has been working at the Department of German Philology of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology at Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University: senior laboratory assistant, lecturer (since 1964), senior lecturer (since 1972), associate professor (since 1982);
• In 1975 completed postgraduate studies at Maurice Thorez Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages;
• In 1975 defended her thesis on the topic "Methods of Teaching German in the 1st year of university (1st semester) specialty (13002 - Methods of Teaching the German language) at Kiev National University;

Advanced training: 1978 - Kiev National Linguistic University; 1984 - Maurice Thorez Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages; 1988 - Humboldt University (Berlin); 2014 and 2019 - Odesa National Maritime Academy.

Educational activity:

• German as a main/first foreign language (OPP-2020 and OPP 2023);
• Methods of teaching the main foreign language and foreign literature;
• Special courses.

Membership in associations:

• Member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology;
• Member of the Union of Germanic Higher School of Ukraine.

Accolades:

• The Badge of Honor of the Mayor of Odesa "Sign of Distinction” 2009;
• Certificates of Honor of the Odesa Regional Administration in 2015 and 2019;

Spheres of scientific interests: general linguistics, psycholinguistics, communicative linguistics, theoretical and practical phonetics, interference, variability of speech sounds, linguodidactics, techniques of teaching foreign languages.
