Biography:

• Graduated from Odesa I. I. Mechnikov State University in 1993 and received a diploma with honors in the specialty «French language and literature»;
• 1993 – 2000 worked as a lecturer at the French language department of the Ismail State Pedagogical Institute (now – Izmail State University of Humanities);
• In 1998 she defended her PhD thesis «The school-research activity of students as means of professional important knowledge actualization (on the basis of the study of foreign languages)» (speciality 13.00.01 – Theory and History of Pedagogics) at Specialized Academic Council of South Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky;
• 2000 - 2004 – Head of the Department of Romance Philology at Izmail State Humanities University;
• On June 20, 2002 she was awarded the rank of Associate Professor of the Department of Romance Philology;
• 2004 - 2007 - doctoral student at the Department of Pedagogy of Izmail State University of Humanities;
• In 2007 she defended her ScD thesis «The system of forming of independent-research activity of future teachers of foreign languages|speeches| in the process of level| preparation» (speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Professional Education) at Specialized Academic Council of South Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky;
• since 2007 - Professor of the French Philology Department at Odessa I. I. Mechnikov National University
• On April 14, 2011 she was awarded the title of Full Professor of the Department of French Philology

• in 2007, she was awarded the Certificate of Management of Education and Scientific Activities of the Regional State Administration for many years of diligent work in the higher education system, a significant contribution to the development of national education and science, significant achievements in professional activity;
• in 2015, she received the title of Honorary Professor of Izmail State University of Humanities;
• in 2018 on the occasion of the Day of Education, she received the Certificate of the Mayor of Izmail for her personal contribution to the development of higher education of the town, significant successes in scientific activity, creative attitude to education.

Scientific interests: various fields of psychology, theory and history of pedagogy, comparative pedagogy, professional education, including future specialists’ professional training in universities; implementation of the competence approach in higher educational context; methods of foreign languages teaching in secondary / higher school
