Біографія:
Nataliia Ivanova graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Philology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University with a degree in Russian as a Foreign Language. In 1986, she completed, with distinction, the two-year Kyiv State French Language Courses.
From 1989 to 1994 and again from 1997 to 2000, she worked at the Department of Linguodidactics of the Preparatory Faculty for International Students at Odesa State Polytechnic University, first as a Lecturer and later as an Associate Professor.
Between 1994 and 1997, she pursued postgraduate studies at Odesa I. I. Mechnikov State University.
In 1998, she was awarded the degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences (PhD equivalent) after successfully defending her dissertation entitled Word-Formation Characteristics of Linguistic Terms Containing the Component "-onym" (Speciality 10.02.02 – Russian Language) at the O. O. Potebnia Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
From 2000 to 2023, she served as an Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages for the Humanities, Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University. During this period, she also headed the French Language Section. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the conference proceedings published in French for the Student Scientific Conferences of non-language majors held at the university in 2014, 2016, and 2018.
On 20 June 2002, she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
From 2013 to 2023, she served as the National Coordinator in Ukraine and Organizer of the annual International Business French Competition Le Mot d'Or, held under the patronage of the Association pour la Promotion du Français des Affaires (APFA), Paris, France. She also chaired the national jury of the competition.
From 2019 to 2023, she served as Deputy Director of the Centre for Language Training and Language Certification at Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.
In 2020, she graduated with honours from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, earning a Master's degree in Philology (Educational Programme: French Language, Literature and Translation).
In 2021, she graduated with honours from Volodymyr Hnatiuk Ternopil National Pedagogical University, where she obtained a Master's degree in Tourism.
From 2023 to 2025, she worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages of the National University Odesa Law Academy.
In 2024, she obtained a second Master's degree in Philology from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, specializing in Romance Languages and Literatures (including Translation), with Spanish as the First Foreign Language.
Since 2025, she has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages for Specific Purposes, Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University.
