Omar Hernández – United Nations Academic Impact Public Communications Officer and programme manager hosted an event as a speaker.
Members of faculties and administration, academics, and international relations officers - all of them walked away with valuable knowledge on the crucial role universities play in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.
In addition, the event highlighted key principles of the SDG integration in university activities and the monumental impact of the UN in implementing the programme.
As the seminar came to a close, participants had the opportunity to ask all of their questions, receiving comprehensive answers that helped to reemphasize the utmost significance of the latest global trends in the involvement of universities in sustainable development programmes, as well as the modernization of educational and research activities in line with the SDG indicators.
