The Twinning: the Memorandum of Understanding with Saint John's University (US) has been signed

28th of June 2022 the Rector, professor Vyacheslav TRUBA has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Saint John's University (the USA, New York). The Signing Ceremony took place under presidency of UK Board representative, Professor Dame Janet Beer, with participation of the Ambassador of United Kingdom to Ukraine Her Excellency Melinda Simmons, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK His Excellency Vadym Prystaiko, the Adviser to the President of Ukraine on the Presidential Fund for support the education, science and sport Ms Olha Budnyk.

Within the ceremony 25 new agreements of cooperation between Universities from Ukraine from one side and Universities from UK, Canada and USA from another side.

The Signing ceremony was an important step forward in realization of The Winning program, launched by the national representative body for UK Universities UNIVERSITIES UK with assistance of Cormack Consultancy Group, a leading consultant of educational services, to support the Ukrainian educational system, which experienced severe damage caused by the war. The concept of the program is to twin the Ukrainian University with a University from the United Kingdom by the network of partnership relations, aimed both for immediate assistance and for creating a basis for long-term cooperation. Several tens of Ukrainian Universities have joined the program, as well as Universities from Great Britain, Canada and the United States of America.

ONU has engaged into an ambitious international project for all-scale support of higher education institutions in Ukraine including restoration of their material and technical facilities, development of scientific and educational potential, intensification of international cooperation and tightening of partnership relations with counterparts from Great Britain, the USA and Canada.
