Odesa I.I. Mechnikov national university delegation visit to the university of Gdansk
Vyacheslav Truba, Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University Rector, and Mayya Nikolaeva, First Vice-Rector, visited Gdansk, Poland, last week, to participate in the conference "Focus on Ukraine" organized by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the University of Gdansk. Policymakers and representatives of Polish and Ukrainian educational communities met at the conference to discuss ways to support Ukrainian universities during the war.
Rector Vyacheslav Truba briefed conference attendees on the challenges our university has faced last year, including the organization of work that dealt with constant power outages.
Successful negotiations were also held with the leadership of the University of Gdansk, during which the ways and prospects for collaboration between the two educational institutions were discussed.
