DFG President discussed future of science with ONU Rector
On April 27, the delegation of DFG, led by the President of the organization, met with the rector and vice-rectors of ONU.
Guests of our university were shown a presentation to get acquainted with the history and modern scientific activity of ONU. After that the members of the delegation presented their organization.
Then the discussion on the future of science in Ukraine and Germany and the problem of its financing was held.
The meeting was ended with a traditional exchange of gifts and a joint photo.
After the meeting with the rector, the guests visited the Museum of the rare book of the ONU Scientific Library.
Information: The German Research Society (German Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, abbreviated DFG, sometimes NNRO) is the central body for the promotion of scientific research in Germany, which has been existing for more than 90 years. The predecessor of the modern DFG was the Society for Assistance to German Science, founded in 1920. The headquarters of the company is located in Bonn, Bad Godesberg district. The German Research Society is a central, self-governing organization of German science, the main task of which is the financing of research at universities and public research institutes in Germany.
