During the visit, our colleagues met with programme directors in interpreting, translation, and translation studies. They explored the structure of the Master’s programmes in conference interpreting and public service translation, gained insights into admission and final examination procedures, and deepened their understanding of the European Master's in Conference Interpreting (EMCI) network, of which Stockholm University is a member.
In return, the visiting lecturers shared the experience of our university, the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, and the Department of Translation, highlighting our approach to translator training.
We are deeply grateful to our colleagues at Stockholm University for their hospitality, meaningful discussions, and the valuable materials shared. Special thanks to the European Parliament for its financial support and continued trust.
Together, we are helping to shape high-quality European education for the next generation of Ukrainian translators and interpreters.
