Objectives
The main objective is to strengthen the social and political leadership role of Ukrainian universities in order to support a sustainable transformation of Ukraine.
An established inter- and transdisciplinary educational network will foster innovative approaches in teaching and applied research and support Ukrainian universities on their way to sustainable university management.
In addition, students will be empowered to act as change agents for sustainable and risk-aware development.
Activities
The project activities are based on a transdisciplinary approach and include:
- desktop research and workshops to define a starting point for the following activities,
- building a platform for a network of experts and practitioners to address the challenges for sustainable transformation and robust reconstruction of Ukraine,
- developing and testing three teaching courses on sustainable management,
- disseminating the project results through various media and on-site events.
Results
The project will create a transdisciplinary Learning Network of academics, students and practitioners from Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania and Germany to develop and test innovative approaches for a sustainable transformation of Ukraine and scenarios for their implementation.
Three courses on this content are being developed and tested in order to integrate them in the long term at the Ukrainian partner universities and to make them available as OER
