EUNEG OBJECTIVES: To develop curriculum with ECTS and degree recognition, to introduce modern teaching methodology based on research and active engagement of students, to purchase the electronic equipment and establish the study labs at the PCU, to train and educate academics and administrative staff, to build up syllabuses of courses, including teaching methodology, students’ obligations and relevant literature, to realize mobility flows of teachers and students, to deliver modern literature and organization of EUNEG libraries as a nucleus of the EU-PC information point, to create at PCUs the structure that will be able to realize the exploitation and sustainability of the project’s results

EUNEG MASTER PROGRAMME

Duration and ECTS value

The studies will last 2 academic years (4 semesters). The value of the studies will be 120 ECTS (30 ECTS per semester). The last semester will be dedicated to students’ research and preparation of Master thesis as its result.

Curriculum

contains 17 courses - 9 mandatory for all students and 8 optional courses in 2 specializations. The mandatory part of the program comprises 9 courses on different aspects of the European integration and of EU external relations.

Specialisation I: Particular aspects of the cooperation of Russia, Ukraine and Moldova with the EU. It contains 3 courses dealing with:

1. cooperation of the EU with each of these countries in education, culture and science
2. migration, asylum and combating crime and
3. the territorial and cross-border cooperation of these countries with the EU

Specialisation II: Good governance’s theory and practice, discrimination and human rights. It contains 3 courses dealing with:

1. local and regional governance, democracy and the role of citizens in EU and in the partner country
2. domestic and international procedures for the victims of discrimination and violation of human rights, and
3. the promotion and implementation of democratic principles and human rights standards in EU and in partner countries
