Vita

Volodymyr Kiosak is a researcher in differential geometry, a university lecturer with extensive experience in educating the younger generation of mathematicians, author of monographs, textbooks and more than 150 articles. V. Kiosak is the executive secretary of the editorial board of the specialized scientific journal "Mathematical Methods of Mechanics" Journal and participates the international scientific committee of the annual conference "Algebraic and Geometric Methods of Analysis" (Odesa). At the department, he is responsible for scientific information and for the work of the mathematical club for students. V. Kiosak regularly participates in the discussion of his results by participating in conferences held both in Ukraine and at European conferences. For four years (from 2019 to 2022), he led his section "Geometry and Its Applications" at the International Conference on Application of Mathematics in Technical and Natural Sciences (Albena, Bulgaria). In 2008, he was a researcher at the Schiller University of Jena (Germany). After that, for five years with interruptions, he worked on the programs DFG Priority Program 1154 - "Global Differential Geometry"; DFG MA 2565/2 "H-projectivity equivalent metrics"; Research Training Group 1523 "Quantum and Gravity Field" at the University of Jena. He had the experience of working with Czech colleagues from Palacky University (Olomouc, Czech Republic), where he completed his doctoral studies, presented his dissertation and received a PhD in mathematics with a specialization in Algebra and Geometry.
