Completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Biology, Odesa I.I. Mechnikov State University 1982, in 1988 he defended his candidate's thesis at the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute. He was conferred the academic title of senior researcher in 1999, the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology in 2005.

The academic contribution is including 147 scientific papers published in both national and international specialized journals, among them 16 from scientometric databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. The scholarly portfolio is further augmented by 16 educational and methodological publications, among them 4 textbooks, 4 lecture notes. Twice students under his leadership became scholarship holders of the "Zavtra.UA" program. He was awarded the Certificates of Honor of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Odesa Regional Council, the "Labor Glory" and "Thanks" awards of the Odesa City Mayor.

Svitlana Bilokon graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Odesa State University named after I.I. Mechnikov in 1994. In 1997, she graduated her pre doctorate course from Odessa State University. The defense of the dissertation took place in the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute - National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigation. In 2007, he was awarded the scientific degree of candidate of biological sciences with the specialty 03.00.15 - genetics, in 2015 - the academic title of associate professor of the department of genetics and molecular biology. From 2007 to 2022 – academic secretary of the department, since 2015 – secretary of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Biology

Tetiana Alieksieieva completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Biology, Odesa I.I. Mechnikov National University in 2002. She successfully defended her doctoral thesis in 2009 at the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute - National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigation, subsequently earning the esteemed degree of Candidate of Sciences that same year. In 2017, she was conferred the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology. In 2023, she was recognized with an Appreciation Award from the Odesa Regional Council.
