Graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Odesa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov in 2000. In 2006, she defended her candidate dissertation at the specialized council of Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Sciences (Ph.D.) in 2006. In 2011, she received the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry. She participates in scientific research and implements her scientific developments into the educational process, contributing to the expansion of educational programs.

She was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Odesa Regional Council.

The academic contribution is including over 70 scientific papers published in both national and international specialized journals, among them 10 from scientometric databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. The scholarly portfolio is further augmented by approximately 20 educational and methodological publications, 2 textbooks and 1 monograph.

Scientific interests: vitaminology, enzymology, functional biochemistry, pathological biochemistry, pharmacology.

Completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Biology, Odesa I.I. Mechnikov State University 1982, in 1988 he defended his candidate's thesis at the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute. He was conferred the academic title of senior researcher in 1999, the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology in 2005.

The academic contribution is including 147 scientific papers published in both national and international specialized journals, among them 16 from scientometric databases such as Web of Science and Scopus. The scholarly portfolio is further augmented by 16 educational and methodological publications, among them 4 textbooks, 4 lecture notes. Twice students under his leadership became scholarship holders of the "Zavtra.UA" program. He was awarded the Certificates of Honor of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the Odesa Regional Council, the "Labor Glory" and "Thanks" awards of the Odesa City Mayor.

Svitlana Bilokon graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Odesa State University named after I.I. Mechnikov in 1994. In 1997, she graduated her pre doctorate course from Odessa State University. The defense of the dissertation took place in the specialized Academic Council of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute - National Center of Seed and Cultivar Investigation.
