The students had the opportunity to see how operates the most modern crossing point, designed and built in accordance with the principles of European Integrated Border Management. As a result of the successful participation in the course the students have been awarded with the certificates by the head of the EUBAM Mission Slawomir Pichor.
ONU students of the specialty “International economic relations” are awarded with the certificates by the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine
Fourth-year students of the specialty "International economic relations" of Odessa National I.I.Mechnikov University have successfully completed the module on cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, which was taught by the experts of the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM) (http://eubam.org/). Namely, experts from Germany, Sweden and Slovakia gave lectures about the role and mandate of the EUBAM and the role of cross-border cooperation for the regional security and economic development. Within the framework of the module the students also visited the new Palanka border crossing point, which was launched with the support of EUBAM, and is being managed jointly by the border and customs services of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
