Purpose:the discipline "Introduction to specialty" shows the multivectorness of future profession and encourages to mastering a wide range of various knowledge and skills which are necessary for successful career of the manager. Knowledge of this discipline is necessary when studying all disciplines of the administrative direction.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• basic principles and functions of management;

• features of management in different countries;

• interrelation of management with religious and cultural features of different countries.

As a result of studying of this course the student has to be able:

FUNDAMENTALS OF MANAGEMENT

Purpose: studying of basic points of management, acquaintance with historical and classical concepts of management, studying of the main administrative functions, formation of a complex knowledge of foundations, principles and methods of effective management.

Task: acquaintance with the main historical schools of management; formation of practical skills according to the analysis of external environment of the organization and administrative decisions, formation of practical skills on effective implementation of the main functions of management: planning, organization, motivation and control, development of administrative qualities; acquaintance with modern management concepts.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• management theories, main approaches and basic concepts of modern management;

• methods of administrative decision-making;

• main functions of management: planning, including strategic planning, organization, motivation, including leadership, and control.

As a result of studying of this course the student has to be able:

• freely to use points of the theory of management in a scientific discourse;

• to distinguish the main schools and management concepts;

MICROECONOMICS

Purpose:to bring to the consciousness of students the understanding that the categories "market demand" and "market supply" display essence of relationship between economic subjects. To give students an idea of the microeconomic mechanism of modern society functioning, to define the main regularities and the principles of economic subjects interaction at the micro level. Without this understanding it is impossible to make administrative decisions, to develop social policy and other aspects of the mechanism of modern economy functioning.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• theoretical and methodological foundations of microeconomics;

• to understand that interaction of supply and demand defines market price only in the conditions of the perfect competition, and for other market structures such unique dependence doesn't exist.

As a result of studying of this course the student has to be able:

• to accept effective business decisions through the use of general scientific and special methods;

• to think in economic categories, paying special attention to "the alternative cost".

 

MACROECONOMICS

Purpose:to bring to the consciousness of students the understanding that the categories "cumulative (aggregate) demand" and "cumulative (aggregate) supply" display essence of economic relationship at the state level. To give students an idea of the macroeconomic mechanism of modern society functioning, to define the main regularities and principles of economic subjects interaction at macro level. Without this understanding it is impossible to make administrative decisions, to develop social policy and other aspects of the mechanism of modern economy functioning.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• theoretical and methodological foundations of microeconomics and to understand a political and social situation in the country depends on macroeconomic development.

To understand:

• that the main macroeconomic problems, such as unemployment, inflation, economic growth, securities markets, interest rates, exchange rates, directly or indirectly affect the well-being of the nation.

As a result of studying of this course the student has to be able:

• to accept effective business decisions through the use of general scientific and special methods;

• to think in economic categories, paying special attention to the influence of budgetary and tax and monetary financial policy on macroeconomic balance, which defines the level of economic development of the country.

 

FUNDAMENTALS OF INVESTMENT POLICY

     The main purpose of the courseis to develop sustainable knowledge among students about effective investment management and participation in partnership with the state.

     The main objectives of the course "Fundamentals of Investment Policy," is to create an understanding of the methods of management in the implementation of public investment policy and the formation of public-private partnerships of various forms, real managerial and professional problems associated with making decisions in the public investment policy and the need to generate private -public partnership.

     After studying the course "Fundamentals of Investment Policy" students has to have an understanding of:

- state regulation of investment activity and the nature of the investment process;

- еconomic content partnerships of state and business structures;

- the need for institutional changes in society due to the development of public-private partnerships;

The purpose of discipline:

- Formation of the future managers’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of mathematical tools in macroeconomic research in today's information environment, which would enhance the effectiveness of research and the accuracy of the results and allow to implement a comprehensive approach to the analysis of macroeconomic processes.

Objectives of discipline:

- Learn how to navigate the modern concepts of modeling macroeconomic processes and lead research in the area of contemporary information processes;

- Master the methodological approaches and features of the macroeconomic research;

- Learn how to build predictive models and trend analysis of the statistical data.

As a result of this course the student should know:

(ECONOMICS OF NATURAL RESOURCES)

The purposeof teaching this subject is providing knowledge about basic points, the principles, methods and features of implementation of economics of national resources.

The main objectives of discipline are:

• formation of fundamental concepts and deep scientific basic knowledge about environmental management economy in students;

• studying regularities of interaction of society with environment for ensuring constructive environmental management;

• formation of knowledge and skills of actions and ways of protection of people in the conditions of emergency situations, ways of life increasing;

• submitting a complex of ecological and economic knowledge, formation of skills on ecological orientation, effective introduction of nature protection actions;

• to relate economic and ecological knowledge with challenges of modern Ukrainian society as the mankind is on the threshold of ecological crisis;

• acquisition of practical skills of application of economic and ecological methods and receptions in the market of ecological goods;

• development of students’ abilities to independent research work.

Main objectives of environmental management economy:

• definition of the losses caused to economy (state), branch, the enterprise, the area, separate private enterprise or the particular person because of irrational environmental management, violation of laws, norms or rules of conservation;

• determination of the size of the costs, necessary for liquidation of consequences of negative technogenic impacts on environment in the near and long-term future;

• assessment of absolute and relative efficiency of cost for protection and nature restoration, choice of best options of nature protection activity and use of natural resources;

• development of economic methods of management by nature protection work and ways of stimulation of nature protection activity and production greening.

 

ENTERPRISE ECONOMY

Course purpose:to give an idea of the enterprise as of the independent managing subject created for maintaining production and business activity for the purpose of receiving profit and satisfaction of public requirements.

 "The enterprise economy" purposeis a statement of key sections and bases of resource providing, management, the organization and efficiency of managing in primary link of economy, set of theoretical and practical knowledge of management of market economy.

The program is developed according to the standard program of discipline "Enterprise economy" and according to requirements of credit and modular system of the organization of teaching the discipline. It has the credits that involve two test modules:

1 . Manufacturing enterprise in aspect of management and resource ensuring activity.

2 . Technical base, organization, planning, results and directions of development of the enterprise.

Purpose of studying of discipline:formation of abilities to think independently, make administrative decisions, to carry out complex economic calculations for effective implementation of economic activity at the level of the enterprises.

Tasks:studying of the economic processes that take place in production and commercial systems of the enterprises; fixation of economic knowledge and assimilation of achievements of the theory and practice of management by the enterprises.

Problems of a course:to open organizational, economic and legal forms of the enterprises, to formulate the principles, basic points of modern approach to enterprise economy.

By studying this course student has to knowthe basic concepts, the purposes and the directions of economic activity of the enterprises, to understand the theory of economy of the enterprise.

 

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Purpose: mastering ability to realize special tools of management in human resource management in the state and private organizations based on studying of theoretical bases and foreign experience of management.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• theoretical and methodological bases of management as mechanism of effective management of the organization;

• principles of the organization of modern HR departments;

• main and auxiliary management styles;

• modern theories of personnel motivation;

• mechanisms of development of the conflicts and ways of their use for the benefit of development of the organization;

• the latest psychological approaches to impact on consciousness and subconsciousness of the personnel;

The purpose of the disciplineis assimilation of marketing knowledge.

Studying: foundations of a common methodology of marketing, theory and practice of modern marketing mechanism’s impact on the competitive position of companies in the market, a complex of core elements and marketing tools.

As a result of this course the student should know:

·     a general description of marketing (the essence, principles, objectives, functions of marketing);

·     the concept of marketing environment;

·     use of marketing tools;

·     theoretical knowledge about collecting, processing, analyzing of marketing information. Stages of marketing research;

·     knowledge about the consumer decision-making process in the B2B and B2C markets, behavioral model, factors that influence the behavior of industrial and consumer markets;

·     the marketing mix;

·     methods of marketing management.

TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MARKETING

The purpose of studying the disciplinelies in receiving by students of knowledge about marketing instruments use in tourist field and in the hospitality industry, and also in development of analytical abilities of students, abilities to apply the gained knowledge in practical activities in the specialty.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• theoretical and methodological bases of marketing of the tourist and hospitality industry;

• systems of marketing information at the tourist enterprises;

• process and features of market researches in the tourism and hospitality industry in all directions.

As a result of studying of this course the student has to be able:

ECONOMY OF THE TOURIST MARKETS

The purpose of studying the discipline is formation of theoretical knowledge of economy of tourism and skills on its practical use, training of students for the independent analysis of regularities of the internal and external tourist markets, orientation and integration of the national tourist markets into world tourist space.

By studying of this course student has to know:

• theoretical and methodological bases of the economy of the tourist markets;

• current state and prospects of development of the tourist market in Ukraine;

• current state and prospects of development of the international tourist markets.

    The purpose of the discipline: during the course "Strategic planning and administration" student should obtain and generate theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the development of a strategic plan, a complex of methods and techniques for the analysis of the market and the company.

As a result of this course the student should know:

·     methodology for the organization of strategic planning;

·     basic concepts, essence and characteristics of management decisions;

·     stages of developing a strategic plan for the company;

·     the role and place of the strategic vision and mission in the strategic planning of the company;

·     goals and basic stages of portfolio analysis;

·     SWOT -analysis. Quantitative and qualitative methods of SWOT-analysis;

Objectives:In the "Investments" discusses both the economic value of investment processes, and practical aspects of the investment process. The basic principles of investment management are given. Methods of evaluating the effectiveness of real and financial investment are represented. Methods for the development and implementation of investment projects, the principles of formulating the investment strategy of the company and optimization measures of the investment portfolio are considered.

Thus an ability of the manager assumes the use of the system analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, rational methods of planning, successful performance of the main functions of management, and also creation of effective communication communications and favorable social and psychological climate in collective in practice.

Tasks:in this course process of development of the administrative decision consisting of separate stages is considered. Each of stages which assumes by the manager a performance of certain types of works taking into account the numerous factors influencing efficiency of the made decision.

The considerable part of a course is devoted to the widespread concept of management – to modeling of administrative decisions, helps to overcome a set of the problems connected with decision-making in difficult situations, and also considerations of various methods of development of the decisions that are adequate to administrative problems.
