70-th Reporting Conference of Student Research
SUBPANEL: Dep. of Social and Applied Psychology Reports
Traditionally in April in our department passes Student Research Conference. This conference provides an opportunity for all students, starting with freshmen, to share their research interests, to discuss the problems of modern psychology and their, even if still small, research results, as well as the results of research conducted in the framework of qualification works.
Participation in conferences reflects the intellectual activity of young people, promotes the formation of scientific interests, gives the opportunity to acquire experience in public speaking and discussions.
This year's conference was somewhat different because it was attended not only by students of our department, but also by those who have studied psychology in Prof. N.F. Budiyansky classes at other faculties. Young researchers prepared for statements those topics they wanted to develop themselves and their reports were emotional and meaningful. We can say that they skillfully shared their discoveries in the fields of: Leadership in student collective (sophomore, Faculty of Economics and Law, L.V. Prozorovska), Vitimology as a phenomenon (sophomore, Faculty of Economics and Law, P.A. Pasternak), Legal socialization as a regulator of behavior of young people in society (sophomore, Faculty of Economics and Law, V.A. Eshtokina),Altruism: a natural need or means of survival (I-st course stud., The Institute of Social Sciences, V. Shvydka).
Interesting results of experimental work and it’s analysis was shared by V-th course student, Bachelor G.V. Afarinova, which explored the creative imagination in preschool children with general speech underdevelopment.
The results of various theoretical analyzeswere presented by department masters degree candidates: L.A. Zakurdaeva, G.A. Polyakova and V.E. Kurmansky.
And certainly the main result of this conference was that almost none report passed without discussion, and three hours quickly flew by...
