Tasks of the laboratory:

  1. To run fundamental and applied researches in optics and optoelectronics, to carry out experimental studies using special computer installaitions, which are being elaborated.
  2. To familiarize the students of ONU with modern optical technologies, to provide an experimental basis for fulfilling course, bachelor and master theses (in the field of optics and computer signals processing) and for postgraduates’ work.

The laboratory collaborates with the following organizations:

Main research trends and results:

  1. ESPI - electronic speckle pattern interferometry.
  2. Nondestructive inspection.
    Measurement and detection of small deformation (0,1-30 mcm) of objects (inhomogenuity, anisotropy, fractures etc.).

  1. Fundamental studies of creation and placement management of nano-sized centres using gradient light fields
    • Creation of fundamental beses for developing new recording media.
    • Creation of fundamental bases for biological low-intensity laser emissions.

Knowledge-intensive high-technology production, biology, medicine.

  • Correlation spectroscopy and small angle scattering. Goal - to develop new methods of analysis of suspensions, suspensions, aerosols, etc.
