Theoretical lectures and laboratory practices will be delivered by the lecturers from Ukrainian and foreign universities. Also, within the framework of Summer school graduates of Ukrainian universities working abroad will share their experience.
Good English skills are mandatory for all participants.
In frame of Summer School International Conference for young scientists “Modern challenges of Microbiology and Biotechnology” will be held from 20th to 23rd of June.
Young scientists and PhD students are invited to participate in Summer School. There is no organization fee for participants from academic and educational organizations, for other participants organization fee is 100 euro (or in national currency according to National bank rate). Applications for Summer School participation should be sent as Microsoft Word Document ( *.doc(x) ), include Name and Surname (in Ukrainian and English or in English for foreign participants), age, position or year of PhD student education, organization, speciality, scientific interests.
Please pay attention that except for attending Summer School all participants are welcome to take part in International Conference “Modern challenges of Microbiology and Biotechnology” where their own research results can be presented internally or remotely.
All travel expenses (tickets, accommodation, meals) should be covered by sending organization.
Lessons will be held at Microbiology, Virology and Biotechnology Department of ONU which is located at Shampansky lane, 2, Odesa.

Conference opening – 21 June at 13.00.
21-23 June – conference working sessions.
Conference working language – English.
Application and reports submission deadline – 24 May 2017. Conference materials will be issued by the results of the conference. The best research works will be published in scientific journal «Microbiology and Biotechnology».
Organization fee (250 hrivnas for regular participants and 125 hrivnas for distant partisipants) shoul be paid before 15 June.

Reports Requirements: Reports don’t have to be more than 4 pages (Word 97-2003 (*.doc)). Document format: Times New Roman, font 14, automatic interval, not more than 30 lines per page, margins 2 cm. File name should contain the name of the first author.
Report structure: UDC index; surnames and names of authors (speaker’s surname must be underlined, ABSTRACT TITLE, official Name of the Organization, postal address, e-mail; abstract (200 words maximum); key words (no more than five); text of the report should include following parts: introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, reference list. Latin names of biological species and genera should be given in Latin in Italics. References have to be given in the text as numbers in square brackets. Tables must be compact and numbered. Figures have to be performed as precise drawings (created by graphic editor and presented in Word, TIF or JPG formats).
Please, do not use any changes in register, fonts, text formatting, and underlining. Organizing Committee reserves the right to edit text reports which are not designed according to the requirements.
