Order of the President of Ukraine
About conferment of a national status to some institutions of higher education.
With due regard for federal and international recognition of the operating results and a substantial contribution to the development of national higher education and science, I hereby resolve:
- To give a national status <…> to Odessa State Mechnickov University <…> and to call it correspondingly from now forward: <…> Odessa National Mechnickov University.
- The Ministry of Ukraine has to secure the control over capacity rate maintenance of the universities with a national status, provided by the item 3 of the Provision about a national establishment of Ukraine, affirmed by the order of the President of Ukraine 16.07.1995 №451.
