Culture and entertainment centre of ONU
Your student's life will pass in one of the oldest universities of Ukraine — Imperial Novorossiysk, nowadays of Odessa National University named after I.I.Mechnikov, in which the spirit of high science, culture and intelligence has been saved till today.
A cultured person begins with culture. Culture and Entertainment centre of the students (the Students club) always focuses on talented people, helps them show their gifts and creativity. The centre activities are represented not only within the walls of the University but also abroad.
Such creative groups and clubs as Academic choral chapel, repeated champion of CGS "Gentlemen club" of Odessa University, the winner of international competitions the Ensemble of National Dance "Autograph", the Alternate Club of Arts "The White Sound"; the instrumental projects that were awarded at prestigious festivals, — all of them more than once represented the University not only in our country. They performed on the stages of Bulgaria and Hungary, Spain and Germany, Israel and Finland, the USA and Greece. Numerous television competitions like “Brain ring” and “What? Where? When?” keep showing a high intellectual level of student teams of ONU.
The culture and entertainment centre does not disregard the rest of the students. Its clubs on interests, parties, concerts, festivals of CGS teams, the Days of Faculties are well known in the city, and skills of those who are involved in these activities are highly appreciated by both spectators and creative professional unions.
All this is accessible to everybody: both for those who have only crossed a threshold of Odessa University and for those who already study or work here.
